Folks

You may be interested in this new flight planner PLAN-G
http://www.tasoftware.co.uk/

You have to register on the forum to be able to download it.

Also, I found that it had to be installed on the system drive (C:\ in my case) otherwise the connection to Google Maps doesn't work. In the support forum (which you will only see after registering) someone else had the same issue.

It works for bith FS9 and FSX and looks as if it could be a useful addition to your tools set. It is (at the moment) free. I do not know if it will become payware.

It does look good though and I think it is worth checking out.

Personally I really love this new "tool"!

Are the navaids accurate?

How long have you been using it?

I have been using it for only two days and for me it is accurate and really amazing.
As it is free and can be removed very easily from your computer there is no big risk to try it, anyway.
Especially usefull for those bloody Bush & VFR flights because it shows the physical shape of the terrain much better than the usual FS means.

This is a great tool to have. I love it so much I went out and bought a second small monitor to have this running on the side so I don't have to switch between FSX and this.

Thanks Yoland!
