I got this in the email, thought I'd share this here in the forum.

openVFR for Microsoft FSX* - new version out!!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
after the amazing success of the first version the openVFR team has launched
its new edition 2010/04. With the new version the presentation of terrain
textures (openVFR Terrain) and the rendering performance for additional
3D-objects (openVFR Objects) has been improved very much. One special focus
was to improve water textures and coastlines.
With the new version also additional countries, like United Kingdom, France,
Spain, Italy, and many others have been firstly published. Now nearly each
Euopean country is available for download.

The openVFR mesh represents a significant improvement from previous SRTM3
meshes, you might have used before. It allows a 75m grid resolution with a
vertical error of less than 16m for Europe. Its new base data was created by
use of new interpolation algorithms and better data auxiliary DEMs of CGIAR
Consortium for Spatial Information***. It is reprocessed from voids and
spikes and optimized for FSX. We are confident that this data is one of the
highest quality SRTM dataset available.

I was going to buy the Switzerland scenery but it would not let me enter a USA address in my profile. So, I abandoned the idea.

I wanted the 2010 version, not the free 2009 version. Thanks anyway.
