More computer problems Yoland mean I have not been flying lately.
Hope to have all fixed soon.

My dear Warren,
You are already a legend of the EGLL hub. Therefore, do not worry, you will not be fired even if you cannot fly for a few days or week. I need you as you are one of the rare pilot to be even older than me :-D

To be serious, if I can be of any help, do not hesitate to contact me... and I mean it!

Take care...

Yoland I am very flattered to be described as "a legend". Thank you.

Thanks Robert and Yoland,
I have more problems however.
I have had osteoporosis for some years and have now suffered a crushed vertebrae in the spine as a result with excruciating pain as you can imagine. This requires bed rest for some weeks so I may not be flying for a while.
Perhaps I could be granted extended sick leave until further notice.
Warren.

Warren,
I am very sorry to hear about your spine problem. I know how painful this type of disease can be. I sincerely look forward to seeing you better very soon.
Please, do not worry about not being able to fly for a certain time. As requested I will put you on leave on the roster until further notice. Anyway, if anytime you feel like doing a little flight, you can do it without need to change your status: any PIREP will be recorded normally even if you appear officially on leave.
Finally, here at St Paul airlines we all wish to see you heal very quickly, Warren.
Take care my friend... and send us good news pretty soon.

We realize that medical setbacks can leave us on the sidelines from time to time. That is one reason that we have the leave status. Follow the doctor's orders and make a quick recovery.

I'm back after six months in hospital and the loss of my left leg.
Memory is not the best either after massive doses of pain killers.
I will put in a PIREP soon, I promise.

Hello Warren my dear old friend,
I am so happy to see you back from hospital.
As you will see, I just mentioned you as retired in the EGLL hub roster, hoping and praying for your return.
Last time we got on touch it was through skype but you could not answer me with the voice syste, as you were using an Ipod, I guess.
Anyway after sharing good time on Knight Air and on St Paul airlines in the past, I really look forward to flying in the same sky.
I just put you as active again with great pleasure.
