This is a great buy! It makes FSX seem more real!

Yes! I tried it last night w/ AS 6.5. It comes w/ a weather generator of its own or you could use your own. It could also use weather from VATSIM. It changes runway asphalt, taxi markings, water, sky, sun, and clouds. It has a flight planner so you could look at real time weather along your route. You could choose to avoid weather. You could also create themes. The weather generator is different than AS. It doesn't update by time but by distance. So weather won't change until you pass a certain distance. For $19.50 it is a steal. Flight Environment X is way more expensive.

I got this beast installed and am an enthusiastic fan of this FSX enhancement. At first I had problems with the frame rate when flying in the rain. But, I turned down the water surface effect features for lakes, streams, and oceans and now get from 10-20 frames per second. The REX software is a real bargain in my book. The clouds set at maximum effect are looking as real as you can get. Here is the link --> Click Here
