Rat attack: Pilot refuses to fly
784 Reads
A Port Blair-bound Indian flight had to be cancelled on Wednesday, minutes before take-off, leaving its 142 passengers high and dry in Chennai.

Reason: The pilot refused to take off as he noticed a rat sneak on board.

The Airbus A-320 was ready for take off when the rat was spotted, prompting authorities to disembark all the passengers. A massive search for the 'offender' was launched.

However, the tiny traveller proved too crafty and the search yielded no result. Finally, the flight had to be cancelled and the passengers were put in city hotels. They were to be flown to Port Blair later by another aircraft.
