Haven't heard of this until your post Bill, but it looks great and has very high ratings. Maybe will keep Larry from teasing us so much on the group flights.

Ok, I bought it and gave it a try yesterday.  I have mixed thoughts at this time about it.  I could have read more about it because my questions and disappointments were readily answered in the available information.

Anyways, the disappointments are:

1.  The seasons don't change automatically. You have to swap the season files in and out as the season changes.  This, of course means abrupt changes of seasons and you have to do it manually.

2.  Also - no snow on the scenery automatically, you have to manually add the snow depth through the sim setting.

3.  Last, but not least significant - the winter season doesn't have bare trees, only gray's or dulls the color of the trees.  Much of this looks unrealistic in Midwest and northern states where most trees shed their leaves and there is considerably less vegetation coverage - particularly from the air.  Of course, the default MSFS sim doesn't do this either.

4.  Added to the need to move the 4 season files in and out of the community folder, the install comes with 3 other folders to be added to the community folder.  This includes 3D Trees, a Gorse Bush file, and an experimental terrain mask file.  I didn't add the bush or terrain mask file yet.  The terrain mask I'll probably wait on due to the noted bugs that affect scenery display.

The fall colors are very nice and look good to my Midwestern eye, but that's a lot of file-fiddling with limited significant detail changes that I can see.

Perhaps, I'm being a bit harsh, but for what little that I see it doing, I'm not sure it's worth the price.  The good news is that the developer is actively working on it and updates are free.

Hah, that's ok Bill.  I didn't mind giving it a try, and it might still be an ok addon.  I just hoped for more for the money.   If you haven't bought it yet we can compare scenery views on the group ride tonight.
